This Privacy Policy applies to the Pixel Code X website at pixelcodeapp.com and information submitted through our website contact or project enquiry forms.

Pixel Code X is presented as a Malaysia-based creative tech studio. This policy describes the website’s current data handling practices and may be updated as the website or services change.

Information we collect

When you send a project enquiry, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, company or brand, email address, WhatsApp number, project type, estimated investment and project brief.

We also record information needed to operate and understand the enquiry flow, such as a generated request ID, selected language and writing mode, source page, referrer and UTM campaign information when available.

For security and spam prevention, Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information required to verify that a submission is legitimate. We do not store your real IP address in the Pixel Code X PocketBase enquiry record.

How we use information

We use enquiry information to review your request, contact you, discuss possible services, prepare quotations or project follow-up, maintain a record of business enquiries, and protect the website from abuse or spam.

We do not sell your enquiry information to advertisers.

Service providers

The website uses selected infrastructure and service providers to operate the enquiry flow. These currently include Vercel for website hosting and server-side processing, Cloudflare for security and Turnstile verification, a self-hosted PocketBase instance for enquiry records, and Resend for enquiry notification and acknowledgement emails.

These providers may process limited information as needed to provide their respective services. Their own terms and privacy practices also apply to their processing.

Retention

Project enquiry records may be retained long-term for business follow-up, enquiry history and administrative reference, with manual cleanup or deletion when appropriate.

We may retain information for longer where reasonably required for an active business relationship, dispute, legal obligation or legitimate administrative need.

Security

We use practical technical measures intended to reduce unauthorised access and abuse. The public website does not receive PocketBase service credentials and does not write directly to PocketBase. Enquiry submissions are processed through a server endpoint with validation, spam protection and authenticated backend access.

No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we encourage you not to submit passwords, payment card details or other unnecessary sensitive information in the project brief.

Analytics & cookies

Pixel Code X uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand general website usage, page views, service and case-study interactions, WhatsApp clicks and enquiry sources. Our custom analytics uses a random first-party visitor ID stored in your browser so repeat visits can be counted without using your real IP address as an identity.

Custom raw analytics events are intended to be retained for up to 90 days, while aggregated statistics may be retained longer for historical reporting. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-focused traffic and performance measurement.

The current site is not designed around advertising or remarketing cookies. If we later introduce advertising pixels or tracking that requires additional consent, we will update this policy and the website’s consent controls as appropriate.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information you have submitted through the website, or to request correction or deletion where appropriate. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant enquiry before acting on a request.
